Savvy Classes ...
Savvy Class Sessions are ongoing classes on various hot topics on our calendar throughout the year. This ever-changing line-up of classes and events is a great way to fuel your passion for cooking! Our classes feature both HANDS ON AND DEMONSTRATION format. In addition to learning about and enjoying great food, our classes provide generous portions of fun and entertainment for every interest and skill level!

SAVVY GOURMET students sit within arm’s reach of our CHEFS around our professional designed, fully equipped demo island all in a professional "studio like"setting, outfitted with state of the art BSH-Professional Thermador and Bosh Stainless Steel appliances. Although participation is often encouraged you are also free to sit back, relax and sip while you learn.

Demonstration	Savvy Session
An opportunity for groups from 10 - 50 to be entertained and educated by CHEFS from some of WNY's premier restaurants. We have the best, the brightest, most lauded and applauded, entertaining in-demand CHEFS at your disposal. It's the experience our chefs oversee that will change your way of looking at cooking forever. Demos include written recipes to take home, generous tastings of the chef’s creations, overhead view of the action through our video system, as well as complimentary beverages to enjoy during the class. Hands-On / Workshop	Special Events
Focused on specific content areas with limited class size of  16 people, these "in the trenches" classes are intensive learning sessions which provide plenty of close supervision from, and interaction with, our CHEFS and Instructors. Its quite a workout! Check out the current class calendar here.	Don't want to dirty up your kitchen? Come play in ours! The Savvy Gourmet is the perfect place to hold your next special event or party. We pride ourselves on creating custom events and private classes to perfectly suit your needs. From bachelorette party through your golden anniversary and every personal landmark in between - The Savvy Gourmet can help you celebrate. Your celebration... your choice!  Packages range from guided wine and cheese tastings and simple demonstrations, to full hands-on participation where all of your guests take part in the meal preparation. You decide the level of participation you want and let The Savvy Gourmet handle the rest. All parties include set up, cleanup, food and recipes for your guests!

Class Information

All classes include food samples, recipe handouts, and a discount coupon for purchases in the Savvy Gourmet store on the day of your class.

We reserve the right to make changes to classes and menus based on the availability of ingredients or other circumstances which might necessitate a change in format or instructor.

Because we are a recreational cooking school and not a restaurant, we are unable to guarantee portion sizes. Portion sizes vary from class to class.

Individual class descriptions indicate if wine or beer samplings are included. Only persons of legal drinking age will be permitted to participate in alcoholic consumption. Bringing alcoholic beverages to class is not allowed. If beverages are not included in the class price, you may order from our extensive beverage list.

Seating is on a first come-first seated basis. Class begins promptly at the published start time, but might run over the published end time due to excess merriment. Please plan accordingly.

Limited free parking is available in front of the store. For our evening classes, you may park directly behind the building in our large, free lot.

Cancellation policy

A one-week notice is required for cancellation of any class. If you do not cancel by telephone at least one week in advance of your scheduled class, we will charge your credit card in full. If something pops up at the last minute, feel free to send a friend in your place! Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
